We were doing this project in art called an upside-down drawing where you try to draw a famous painting as well as you can freehand. I spent a lot of time on it trying to make it look really good, but my teacher thought I traced it. (In other words did a graphite transfer and traced around the lines) I told her I didn't trace it, so I thought I might as well show a few kids in my class, They said I didn't trace it, although one kid did say that the lines were smooth instead of what most kids did, which was a series of short strokes. That kid did say that it looked like I did it freehand because I didn't draw a few lines. Later in the afternoon, my teacher called me outside and told me be honest with her and say that I traced it. I said I didn't. She then told me to go back inside and that she would talk to me later in the day. So, I had the same old routine until after school. She called me into a corner as I was exiting and told me to tell the truth. I said I didn't trace it. Twice I told her, but she still thought I was lying. So she told me to think it over and tell her the truth on Friday. I worked so hard on it and I might have to do another since she thinks that I am lying. I told my mom and my sister, and they said that it didn't look traced. Can't my teacher see that I'm telling the truth?
