1A: EtPP INTRO:

You have boarded a plane from Australia to USA. There is a bomb on the plane, which is fixed to the nose of the plane. The plane you have boarded is one of these. You cannot warn the people on the ground since all communications have been cut off. To escape and not be killed, make a device out of things found on an airplane. Use the device to escape.

You are now stuck on an abandoned island near Hawaii. Your challenge now is to escape the island alive.

You are stuck on a beach on Japan. There is an abandoned climbing route from the beach to a cliff side with Mt. Fuji and Tokyo in view. Your challenge this time is to climb the mountains and hills and reach Tokyo and possibly get rescued.

Charlie stared out his window looking out to the seemingly endless horizon. With nothing much better to do he opened the overhead baggage rack, reached for his suitcase and found a book to read. He put his case back up the baggage rack, turned on the light and read.

After about half an hour of reading a stewardess with a trolley appeared next to him.

"Juice, water or wine sir?"
"I'll just have the juice."

The stewardess handed him a cup of orange juice with cylindrical ice pieces with a hole though them. Charlie opened the seat-table and locked it in place. He placed the book mark in his book, set it aside and drank.

The speaker turned on and announced: "Attention passengers, this is your captain. I advise everyone to fasten their seatbelts as we will be traveling in turbulance. Thank you."

The fasten seatbelt sign turned on followed by a late "bing" sound.

Bio: (optional) Butda worked as an intern for a small magazine named Small Businesses before abandoning her position to move in with her aunt in the US--who's also paying for this flight. With both parents dead, Butda had no one else to go.

"Attention passengers, this is your captain. I
advise everyone to fasten their seatbelts as we will be traveling in
turbulance. Thank you."

The captain's gravelly voice woke Butda up from her nap. She eyed her seatbelt for a second before realizing it was already fastened. Feeling bored and no longer sleepy, she began to investigate her surroundings. A small, 7/8-year-old girl sitting across her was restlessly jumping up and down. "Where are her parents?" thought Butda. "Wait, is she boarding alone?"

"Huh, the stuff parents let their kids do these days..."

Zana quickly rushes into the plane and sits next to Pandora. She loudly burps to give herself the impression of being annoying so no one would talk to her. She stuffs a piece of bubble gum into her mouth and take out her laptop. Seeing others staring at her she waves.
"Hey guys!"

Butda was tempted to say "Dear God, what did humanity turn into?" at the sight of this bubble gum chewing bimbo, but decided against it. "Screw turbulence. I'm going to the bathroom... to commit suicide, hopefully."

After drinking his orange juice, Charlie sat back in his seat and started out the window. Suddenly, the in-flight movie screen went black followed by a "NUNG" sound (like the sound when Herbert hacks into the PSA monitors). Small white writing on the lower left corner said "ERROR 404".

The screen went on again followed by another "NUNG" sound. Instead of the in-flight movie, a skull and crossbones went on the screen.

A pirate movie?

The skull and crossbones went off the screen. Meanwhile in the cockpit, all of the displays are linked to the movie screen, meaning the crew can see what the passengers can see.

A voice that sounded like Microsoft Sam went on and said "HOW ARE YOU PASS-AN-GERS? NOW THIS PLANE ARE NOW UNDERCONTROL BY US. YOU HAVE NO CHANCE TO SURVIVE."

An internet-meme? This is just getting crazy.

"There is bomb planted on the nose of the plane. It is a nuclear bomb. If it explodes, no-one will be able to see the spectacular explosion. The nuclear bomb will also disable the flight recorders, so HA HA HA HA HA HA. It will explode in 5 hours. All communications will be cut off. YOU HAVE NO CHANCE TO SURVIVE OR GET OFF THIS DOOMED PLANE. HA HA HA HA HA."

The screen went black again and a digital countdown clock appeared. Charlie heard nearly all of the passengers talk about the message.

The speaker turned on and said, "Attention passangers, I am quite aware of this situation. Please remain calm an-"

The speaker cut off mid sentence. The plane lurched to the right and went into a deep dive desending about 30,000 feet. The passengers felt weight-less for a few seconds before the plane rolled. The right wing of the plane was now about 50m from the ocean. The plane righted itself up and climbed back up 30,000 feet.

The engines went to full thrust making sure it does not stall. Charlie reached for the puke-bag, poked his head in it and- you know what happened.

After puking (a lot), Charlie got out of his seat and walked though First class, climbed the staircase and got to the cockpit. Both the Captain and Co-Pilot were pulling so hard on the wheel that their chairs were nearly horizontal.

"Did you hear that?!" asked Charlie.
"Yes, yes we did," replied the Flight Officer.

Charlie spotted the altimiter that read 40,000 feet. It suddently changed to 41,000 feet, and then 42,000, 43,000 and so on.

"What are you planning to do?" asked Charlie again.
The Flight Officer replied, "We can ditch in the ocean."
The Captain overheard and said "No. We can land near or on Hawaii like on Flight 243."
"That was a roof loss!"
"I don't care. We will land in Hawaii or bust!"

The plane leved itself around 50,000 feet.

"Wha-wha-wha what?!?" Zana freaks out. She barfs all over the floor infront of her. Then puts her laptop in her in her bag. She starts to pray. Not for her life. That all her belongings won't get soiled.

Derek goes back to his seat. "What am I gonna do now?!", he says. "It's either die, or live in Hawaii."

(While this whole agrument was going on between the kids out front, his dad fell asleep and he knew he never would wake up because he was always a heavy sleeper, Xavier notices a shady guy in the next seat wearing an unusually weird tatoo.)

"We're about three hours from Hawaii, and it's about four hours till the bomb explodes. Once on the ground I hope someone can defuse it before it explodes, or we're dead meat. I should also make a mayday call to the ATC."

OORPG: Dude, all communications are cut off and you can't defuse the bomb.

IRPG: ("Huh, maybe we could get the life raft from the cargo hold and jump out of the plane when i nearly hits the ground. We wouldn't die from the impact of the water because we wouldn't fall long enough for that to happen.")

"I said once on the ground someone could try to defuse it, considering that it's in the nose, and we can't get to it in the air. We have to find a way to communicate with the ground. i know someone nearby the airport, I could get him to try and tell the ATC to divert all flights from my cell phone, if i can get reception. Maybe we should try and lower the plane's altitude as well."

OORPG: The bomb can not be defuesed. It blows up just before landing, so get out of the plane before landing.

IRPG: Charlie hang onto the stairs before he let go and fell towards the First class area. Charlie could hear the engines sputtering. He ran all the way into the Economy area and sat at one of the empty window seats. The inboard engine was on fire. Suddently it died out. He ran back to First class and announced.

"Everybody! Engine two just flamed out! Although this plane can land with two (or was it one) engines running, it will stall."

"Someone try to get engine two back on while I descend the plane to about 30,000 feet. We might be able to windmill-start it. We've got about three and a half hours before the explosion occurs, and we're about three hours from Hawaii, with the engine flameout. If we get the engine back online, I'd say it would take about two hours."
