Okay, I was planning on doing this for a while, but I've been caught up with school and other issues, so I haven't had chance yet to make anything concrete.

So: do you want the forum scrollbar back? Please vote Yes or No in the poll above.

Marquee is probably the worst HTML code out there.

No, because:

1) It's annoying,
2) You can easily go to the page that shows recent posts, and
3) I am going to whip up a Greasemonkey script to put the recent posts scroller back only if you want it

Unless there's a way you can turn the scroller off in the UCP and I overlooked it last time, I am begging you not to add it back ;(

Why do we need this? It is so useless.

Refer to Payton's post ^^

I decided to take the script in the opposite direction and have it block the scroller for people who don't want to see it. This way, I don't have to work as hard, and no one has to be upset over anything.

Okay, Im going to help you out. I found this code on Quackit and modified it a bit. Check it out:

Code:
<!-- HTML codes by Quackit.com -->
<marquee behavior="scroll" direction="down" id="mymarquee">
<p>How's this? You might have to modify it to set the default setting as stopped.</p>
</marquee>
<input type="button" value="Stop Marquee" onClick="document.getElementById('mymarquee').stop();">
<input type="button" value="Start Marquee" onClick="document.getElementById('mymarquee').start();">

Hope I helped. ;)
