StoryYears ago, three Clans—Faro, Trez, and Ecepo—lived on the island of Foro.
Faro: The Clan of Light. As the first Clan, the ancient Leader named the island after their
tribe, calling it Foro. Faro was originally ruled by Guin, who was later banished.
Trez: The Clan of Three. Trez originally represented the elements of Fire, Water, and Snow. Legend has it that a mysterious penguin named Sensei taught the ancient Tribe Leader the art of the ninja, and one of the things he learned from it were the Sensei’s elements. Trez was ruled by RTL and Big Sb.
Ecepo: The Clan of Unity. Ecepo was a Clan of penguins who devoted their lives to attempting to be the mediators between the other two Clans. It was because of Ecepo’s
dedication to unity that Foro became what it is today. Ecepo was ruled by Dark and Cj.
War had been going on for years between the five Clan Leaders and their tribes. Dark, upset greatly by all the fighting, finally called a meeting of the Leaders. After a brief but intense fight, discussion and debate ensued until they finally reached a decision: to bring all the Clans together as one people: the Forans.
“Tasks”Each of the Clan Leaders agreed to take on a task, something specific and important that would, in each other’s eyes, make all the Leaders equals.
Dark: Dark founded the Element system. The Element system is divided into SubElements. The Element you choose determines your job on
Foro.
Big Sb: Big Sb was put in charge of the jails of Foro. Always having been a rather sympathetic penguin, Big Sb decided to fit the jails and the cells to be a comforting place
that would nonetheless leave the prisoner wishing for his previous life in Foro.
Cj: Cj decided to do exploration and charting. After plotting the entire island in detail, he
made the decision to venture further than ever with a crew of Mediators to continue what he thought his duty.
RTL: RTL is an experienced ninja, trained for generations in the arts. Because of this, he founded a completely new Element, Energia. Energia was the group Leaders belonged to, but he added to this yet, creating Mediators, an elite force of penguins in charge of keeping the peace. These were the best of the best, those dedicated and friendly, ready to help anyone. On top of this, he put in a group of spies, the Ninjas, to keep an eye on things for the Mediators. The Energia system helps keep Foro running smoothly. RTL trains all new Mediators, Ninjas, and on rare occasion, Leaders.
Guin: Guin was in charge of splitting the land into groups in which the Elements could live. When Guin was banished, the four remaining leaders took the job up.
ElementsEnergiaEnergia, the Element of Power, consists of those in charge of Foro’s well-being. Only at RTL’s decision—with the approval of the other leaders—can one become part of Energia.
Leaders: Leaders are in charge of changing the island’s customs and Elements in order to keep Foro running smoothly.
Mediators: Mediators are an elite force of trustworthy penguins who basically act as a police force, keeping the island’s citizens in check. They are the ones who bring in suspected criminals to Big Sb for questioning.
Ninjas: Ninjas are a spy force of sorts, hiding in the shadows and watching the penguins of the island. These penguins dress from head to toe in black, leaving nothing but their eyes open. They cannot risk being recognized, and usually keep friends within the Energia Element.
Fuegia Fuegia, the Element of Fire, is in charge of architecture, smithing, and design.
Blacksmiths: Blacksmiths design suits of armor and other important iron objects, including electrical appliances.
Silversmiths: Silversmiths are the melee weapon designers, making anything from daggers to swords, scythes to shields—you name it, they can make it.
Architects: Architects design and build the structures penguins of Foro live in based on their environment. Highly creative penguins, they must be ready at any point to build anything from houses to ships.
Welders: Welders merge things together with fire, and are often found working alongside a Blacksmith. Sometimes Blacksmiths will even belong to the Welders group, too.
EspeciaEspecia, the Element of Future, are the most creative thinkers on the island. From designing long-range TEK weapons to blueprints for various other things around the island, these penguins are vital to technological advancements.
Blueprint Designers: Blueprint Designers come up with the plans for new TEK weaponry, housing structures—you name it. Because of this, they are some of the most important Especia Element workers.
TEK Designers:
TEK Designers take the blueprints designed by the Blueprint Designers and rework them to fit for TEK weaponry.
TEK Factory Workers: The only factory on Foro exists within the Especia Element, and consists of those in charge of mass—or minor—TEK production. These workers are vital to Foro, but are becoming less in number with recent machinery advancements.
Machine Designers: Machine Designers take the blueprints designed by the Blueprint Designers and rework them for machines, including vehicles and AFPs.
TEK Farming Designers: TEK Farming Designers work on machines from blueprints from Blueprint Designers to aid in the growing of crops. TEK Farming Designers are also considered part of the Granjia Element.
SumergiaSumergia, the Element of Water, is made up of penguins who do work out in the near oceans of Foro.
Fisherpenguins: Fisherpenguins catch fish, the primary source of food for Foro, off the coast of the island in Fisher’s Wharf. Some fishermen have TEK Fishing Rods, which help catch fish even better than before.
Deepsea Divers: These divers hunt for treasure, especially the rich array of pearls that lay at the bottom of Foro. These Pearls are the primary unit of currency on the island.
Loungeboaters: Loungeboaters are a group of entertainers who host loud and rambunctious parties aboard their Loungeboats. A fee is paid to get in. Loungeboaters are also considered part of the Entretengia Element.
Marine Scientists: Marine Scientists study the life in the oceans around Foro, often making new marine life discoveries and learning interesting things about the breeds of
fish and other things living around the tropical island.
EntretengiaEntretengia, the Element of Entertainment, is comprised of penguins that make their living entertaining the masses.
Circus/Carnival Penguins: These penguins do their job year-round in the Entretengia Environment, amusing the island’s penguins with hilarious shows and games. From clowns to tightrope walkers, this group has it all!
Loungeboaters: Loungeboaters are a group of entertainers who host loud and rambunctious parties aboard their Loungeboats. A fee is paid to get in. Loungeboaters are also considered part of the Sumergia Element.
Theatre Producers: These penguins work hard to create movies, from historical documentaries to laugh-out-loud comedies. With recent TEK advancements, TEK screens have been introduced, and some interactive movies have already actually been made.
Merchants/Shopowners:: Merchants sell wares all over the island, and are considered part of Entretengia because they majorly sell knick-knacks, though food is sold, too.
Bankers: Thousands of penguins come to bankers daily to trade in PCs for different PCs, earn interest, and cash in their Pearl Coins. Bankers are a very important SubElement to Foro.
GranjiaGranjia, the Element of Nature, is one of Foro’s most important Elements. They grow the food that merchants sell, and even include groups of scientists.
Farmers: Perhaps the most important SubElement of Foro, farmers grow the crops that penguins need to survive. Because of their lush Environment of the perfect temperature, Granjia’s crops are grown to perfection.
Biologists: Biologists study crops and other plants, trying to learn how they work and possibly how to produce things quicker and more safely.
Animologists: Animologists study the creatures of Foro, trying to learn how they work and what might be good for pets that merchants could sell. Forans do not eat animals, save for fish.
TEK Farming Designers: TEK Farming Designers work on machines from blueprints from Blueprint Designers to aid in the growing of crops. TEK Farming Designers are also considered part of the Especia Element.
New jobs make for new SubElements, but the main six Elements always stay the same.
MaliaMalia is the Essence of Evil, an Element of Darkness. The Banned belong to this group. When a penguin is banished, they retreat to the dark corners of the Malia Environment,
hiding in the shadows and waiting for their chance to strike. Malia is not considered one of the six Elements.
EnvironmentsThe island of Foro is divided into seven sections, each representing one Element. The Element you belong to determines where you live.
Energia: The Energia Environment is a mini-city within the island. Here, you can reach any of the other Environments, making it the most travelled crossroads of Foro.
Fuegia: The Fuegia Environment is a hot place at the base of a dormant volcano. Few penguins can withstand the heat very long, so the penguins of this region often wear TEK Adaptive Clothing to keep cool.
Especia: The Especia Environment is very close to the Energia Environment. This region is basically just a few peaceful factories and houses where designers and workers do their thing.
Sumergia: The entire east coast of Foro is devoted to Sumergia. The Element lives on gigantic lilypad-like structures floating in the ocean. Loungeboaters often live here, close to their boats.
Entretengia: The Entretengia Environment is a bustling place, full of noise and clamor. Like Especia, it is very close to the Energia Environment because of the popularity of the place.
Granjia: The Granjia region is the largest of all, consisting of huge fields and pastures, woods and valleys. This is where most animals of Foro roam.
Malia: The Malia Environment is completely underground, consisting of the Jails…and the mysterious tunnels beneath.
CurrencyForo uses crafted Pearl Coins to pay one another.
Bronze PC: Bronze PCs are the smallest unit of currency, worth approximately one US dollar.
Silver PC: Worth about five US dollars, Silver PCs are the unit most often paid in.
Gold PC: Worth about ten US dollars, Gold PCs are one of the higher units of currency.
Platinum PC: Platinum PCs are a brilliant silver, shiny coin—much
brighter than Silver PCs. They are worth about one hundred US dollars.
Blue PC: The rarest PC of all, Blue PCs are worth one thousand US dollars. Very few penguins own a blue PC.
WeaponryTEK (Target Enhanced Kinetic Technology) is a new but important part of life in Foro. Target Enhanced means goaled for accuracy, whether it be the accuracy of a gun or the
ability of a movie to interact with its watchers. Kinetic simply means adaptive, able to change to fit their owner’s needs. Shells are shot out with power inside them from guns. These shells can later be collected and recharged.
TEK Classic Blaster: Owned by most citizens of Foro, these classy six-shot blasters are useful when in need of self-defense.
TEK Mediator Blaster: Similar to the six-shot blaster used by denizens of Foro, these golden blasters are a status symbol for Mediators.
TEK Mega Blaster: These are the best of the best, owned only by Leaders. Each shot is extremely powerful, and the shells recharge quickly.
TEK Ninja Handblaster: Ninja Handblasters are small guns that a ninja can conceal within their belt. Fire rapidly and recharge quickly. Not liable to overheat.
TEK Samurai Blade: Powerful blade used by ninjas, charged with TEK Energy.
TEK Pirate Blade: Used by members of Sumergia, this sword is a status symbol of
the Element.
TEK Fireblade: Used by members of Fuegia, this sword is a status symbol of the Element.
TEK Energy Blade: Used by members of Energia, this sword is a status symbol of
the Element.
TEK Prototype Blade: Used by members of Especia, this sword is a status symbol of the Element. Not really a prototype.
TEK Earthblade: Used by members of Granjia, this sword is a status symbol of the Element.
Darkblade: Not a true TEK Blade, the Darkblades are made of an energized substance only found in the Malia
Environment. Only those of the Malia Element dare use these sickening blades.
TEK Shell Recharger: When a shell is put on top of this portable machine, its TEK Energy will recharge the shell automatically, making it ready for use once again. In this way, no shell goes to waste.
TEK Shell Homing Attachment: This small gun attachment can home TEK Shells back to itself once fired, making the shells easier to retrieve in the heat of a battle.
TEK Homing Missile Attachment: This small gun attachment can home TEK Shells to a specific target. These are rare and in the prototype phase, so are not commonly used on the island.
TEK Blade Recharger: The TEK Blade Recharger is a short of sheath that restores energy to a TEK Blade. Similar to a TEK Shell Recharger.
