Well, why isn't flash letting me type in any codes? I'd like to program things but all my thing does is let the suggested things do there codes instead :roll:

Right click in the time line on one of the key[ah brain fart!) and select action and type your code in there. I'll fix my brain fart post in a minute, let me open flash XD I'll post a picture

When you open the actions window, are you on the 'Compiler Errors' Tab or 'Actions-Frame' Tab?

From what I am understanding on the first page, turn script assist off. When script assist is on, you can not type codes.

@Snook- You can add actions into almost anything, not just the frames.

Ghost, you really should of experimented with the program first before you went straight to making something.You seem to be a huge newb at doing Flash if you don't understand this stuff.

Oh, and what program are you using?I want to try out afew things.

You just said it. :face: Flash.

No, you are wrong their Chao. I never learn by just reading. I have to work it out and actually do it to understand it. I learn by practicing random stuff in Flash and these crazy games that I have created.

The game that I am currently working on, is the biggest game I have ever made in Flash and has showed me many more features.

Flash Player is made to play games, animations, etc. made in Flash.

Adobe Flash, google it. It is a product made by Adobe, just like Photoshop, to make Flash graphics and what not. It isn't free though.

Flash Player is also made by Adobe.
