Try using Paint.net It's much easier for beginners.

It's too big, 350x150 or 500x100 would be a good size.

Try looking for fonts at : Dafont.com

Nothing really there, Look for renders at Plantetrenders.com

Photoshop is a lot.
It is 8/10 for a first, but 6/10 if you have made other stuff.
