Good luck. You dont need to stretch the render. I got CS3 about a month ago and Iw as switching from gimp. Once you get used to it, it works soooo much better than your old program.

I can't stand photoshop.

Really? I absolutely hated using it in the beginning but once I caught on, it was great, I like how if you paste in a new layer and then deselect, you can still move it around and see what was outside the canvas. Gimp doesnt do that.
