What's So Good?

What is so good about shooting games like COD and Halo? Alll anyone in my school wants to do is play MW2. I personally don't find it very entertaining and I get bored easily.

So what's so good about it :!: :?:

Yeah, I play it with my friends a lot.
It is very repetetive.

Have you just been playing the Multiplayer or have you played the Campaign too? The multiplayer is repetitive, but the campaign is pretty good. The game is all good, it just gets boring after a little while. Still fun to shoot someone down though.

Halo's fun, but it's lack of complex story and level design make it repetitive.

I suggest Half Life 2. Every level is different, the strategies for it are superb...

Modern Warfare 2 is so good because I can shoot my favorite guns instead of buying airsoft ones.

I like Airsoft guns better though. :P

Modern Warfare 2 M16: $60 > M16 Airsoft AEG rifle: $175

It has gotten better. I can say, without a doubt, that MW2 is the best of them all. My favorite part, out of the campaign, is that the enemies have 1 life and will not respawn after they are killed. I also love the guns and everything else.

Well I haven't got MW2 yet, but I do have Halo. My favorite part is probably the story lines and the characters' personalities. But as someone else said, they can be a bit short (hint: ODST).
