I think I remember that. It went like this:
The staff felt sorry for DirkD since he supposedly lost his mother (turns out it was all a lie), so they updated the head widget to include a song dedicated to him for his birthday.

I don't know, perhaps that did happen. We did have music on the forum during Christmas, by the way.
