| Did anyone hear about it? I'm sure people in Europe have experienced the gigantic cloud of ash. Airports from Scotland to Spain to Russia to China have been closed for the erupting volcano. You don't want to be stuck in an airplane going into a cloud of ash. Bad things happen. | |

| Well, I guess they're obliged to rename the place to Lavaland now, aren't they?
I'm so witty. | |

I'm so witty. I believe that's the only volcano on the island. :P

| What is it with Iceland? They steal some £400m of UK taxpayer money to 'bail out' their banks and this is how they repay us.
ps. I don't think china has been affected. It's just that they can't fly into European airspace. Anyway, Scottish airports and Czech airspace is opening tomorrow. Should clear.
| |

| That's got to be the most pathetic gigantic cloud of ash i've ever seen. It was basically a cloudy day. | |

Well that's good. They said that it will make its way to North America, which could be a problem to those traveling this week during school vacation.

| Qantas said that their flights are canceled until Thursday. I doubt that it would not be extended. When you fly at over 40,000 feet at speeds of nearly 1,000 km/h, this happens: | |

| I was just about to make a thread on this. Here in London, I can see a bit of the ash, not that much actually. My teachers and friends are stuck in other countries and can't come back to London either. I'm sure it'll clear away soon enough and I hope it won't erupt again because I HAVE A HOLIDAY TO GO TO IN JULY! :P None of the Airports are open here in London either. D: | |
