I tried to avoid shoving a lot useless crap in there (like my last attempt), which is why this one looks a bit lacking.
I used a hard, round brush with no brush settings checked. Here's the render:

Like what others have said,smudging is fantastico. But it is a tad bland,flow is not enough.

Here is something I noticed, the pink smudged area is great but the blue part ruins the color combo. Try combining both sig 1 and 2. It might look nice, these abstract c4ds are pretty good:

Thanks for the suggestions and C4Ds, DK. I like the pink one as it is, so I'm going to keep it that way. It just looks too mono without the blue.
As for the flow ending abruptly: I got rid of a large chunk off the sig's right side right before I saved it.
