rubbish artwork

by the look of my sig...im rubbish...can someone kinda push me on the right path....like kinda tutor me.

I think it is pretty good actually. The only thing that is bothering me is the text. Remove the drop shadow behind it. It would be hard to find an online tutor for graphics so I would suggest you try some tutorials. It is the best way to learn how to manipulate your software.

Try to blend the render. For example: Just smudge it a little.
And if you have Ps CS4 then go to "Filter" and go down to "Render" and go to "lighting effects" and click on it, and make it creative.

Looks like a stock, focal, text.
Needs more work, and sharpen your focal.

A stock is an image and you did use a focal, the orange puffle.

Gimp was hard for me at first but I quickly got used it it. Tutorials really helped me out. I used to go to a website called Gimptalk. I would share the link but a user will come along and say I technically advertised. The name speaks for itself though and you should not have any trouble finding it. There are probably many better sites out there for gimp tutorials but I really liked Gimptalk. The tutorials were very straight forward.
