Look at this:

GIMP Help Gimphelp1

Does anyone know how to get the image of Rockhopper on the other picture on another layer? I know you need to CTRL+A, CTRL+C and CTRL+V it but when I do that I can't move the picture to the left or right. Plesh help.

First you do the Ctrl A Ctrl C Ctrl V thing, get it on the other image, and use the move/scale tool.
