I never actually owned the cartridge, but I've played the ROM. Once you get to lavender town you gotta admit it's creepy.

The two original games in the Pokemon game series were probably the best. I have played through every game I believe.

The original Lavender Town music freaks the heck out of me. I can't listen to it in the dark. It gives me headaches.

I don't see lavender town creepy at all.
Only,it gives me headaches and one time,I fell asleep after listening to the music and I hade headache nightmares.

I actually recently got the rom on my android phone. I still have two more gyms and I caught zaptos. The game is a lot easier than it was when I was younger. I am a little bored of it now though because the game doesn't require that much thinking anymore..

The lavender town music is creepier in Leaf Green IMO. Red is respectable but was really low budget, Crystal is my favorite game. It give you nostalgia but at the same time is still a decent game.

I loved the Crystal/Gold/Silver series the best too. They should make a modern version of those. I found it cool how you had Johto and Kanto and the pokemon are my favorite of all of them.

I remember getting Pokemon Red and Blue during Christmas of 1998. It's the first Christmas I remember, coincidentally. I was so excited to play and I was amazed at the gameplay I probably spent 8 straight days playing. Still remains a classic.

I think they should have stuck with the generations longer. The original 150 are the best.

They did Heart Gold and Soul Silver came out last year.

I actually liked the Ruins of Alph music, it really put a theme into but you are right, leafgreen does make it creepier.

I have Red, but can't really play it anymore, but I remember that Lavender Town creeped me out. I was like 7 or 8, so that was part of it. It doesn't creep me out anymore though.

That one isn't real First of all that type of sound wouldn't be possible in pokemon red. It sounds like someone was playing with the pitch to get attention. : D

I've always wanted to play the buryman script, though. It sounds quite interesting. Also, I think that white hand girl is a ghost that got murdered by team rocket while she was trying to protect Marowak.
