Her baby daughter went missing. Found dead. Proof points towards the mother. She got off not-guilty on July 5th though and only has a 4 year jail sentence at the time.

That's basically it. I didn't keep up with it myself, but I hear a lot about it.

You guys think the justice system is broken unless it returns a guilty verdict. Despite what media coverage suggests, some people are innocent. And even if she is guilty, I would rather 10 murders go free than an innocent man be put in jail. There is a reason we require proof beyond a reasonable doubt. They didn't prove it, she walks.

She was found not guilty in a fair trial. Complaining at this point would be the same as me demanding a man proven guilty of murder go free because I (someone not involved in the trial or with any real understanding of law) has an opinion.

It's pretty amusing to see how the media willingly ignores important headlines and returns to the comfort of a murder story. Why should this even matter to anyone else?

I'm pretty pissed that the jury reached a verdict of not guilty.
She was clearly guilty! How much more evidence do you need? She went partying while her kid was "missing" for Christ's sake...ugh...please excuse my anger...unbelievable...

I think it's obvious that she murdered her daughter. I mean, her daughter was missing for 30 days and during that time she goes partying and gets a tattoo that states "The Beautiful Life" or something? How messed up is that?
