RR's Text tut:Requirements: latest version of GIMP
1. make your text size as big as you want, and any color
2. now type your name,[top,rr,jj,cj,etc.]
3. and then when your done with that,go to layer-layer image to size
so you have more space
4. now go to filters-disorts-iwarp
5. now the popup will come up, and set the settings on this-
move
deform radius- 20
deform amount- 0.30
make sure bellinear has a check next to it.
make sure adaptive super sample is NOT checked off
6. now if you see the window to the left with your text, drag it a little bit in some places, but not two much or it wont look good.
just make sure it looks a little curved and swirly [or stronger if you want]
7.Then duplicate your layer TWICE
8.then filters-blur-gaussian blur and set the horiz and vert to 12
9.now merge down all of your layers in layer- merge down
10.go to filters-disorts-wind. when the popup comes up, you dont have to change anything EXCEPT the 'edge effected'
11. you can choose either leading or trailing.
12.now go to colors-filter pack and choose any color you want!!!
I am really sorry it has no pictures.
And if you dont notice its probably a tut thats kinda similar to one you might i have seen. But i dont know.
