FORUMOTION HACK RUMORS! IT IS HAPPENING!

Earlier today someone reported a HACK THREAT on Forumotion and it happened! My forum with 1,800 posts in a week has crashed! This is a huge problem because YOU could be targeted. Have a forum backup ready, everyone!

Ok, according to information this might be a database error but we have good proof it was the person threatening to hack all of the Forumotion boards. Oddly enough, this board was NOT attacked!

I think this might link back to someone on this board since A.) We're the biggest forum B.) People with sites here have been hacked and C.) We haven't been affected.

You should tell forumotion.
Give them the admin pass and let them check everybodies ip to see if it matches up with the person who threatened to hack them.

CrazyCatoon\'s entire site was hacked.
Click the links in the original post, they have information on Forumotion about this.
Lots of people are freaking out and apprently on forums we cannot post.

But why isn\'t this forum affected?

Hey. It seem's to only be targeting some forums. An old forum VC had hasn't been hacked. It was pretty small with only 30 users, so maybe the hacker is doing it selectivly.
