The first one doesn't let you type, the second one, is OK though, pretty good for beginner in Flash!

Well, he probably just started flash.

Window > Components

Then find what you are looking for. Input boxes for password and username and buttons can be found here:

Window > Components > User Interface

Then just drag it onto the stage.

User Interface has all of the main form components. Color picker, input boxes, buttons, radios, checkboxes, etc.

That is a way to make it, yes. There are other ways though. You can go for the manual way and take longer time if you want but I would rather use those.

Also, as said before, this will not do anything. This would only let you type things in and click the button.

Something I forgot: You must go to Parameters after you have added the button/text box to change it to password, change the max limit, etc.

Yeah, thats what I thought. I have started making a puzzle game with it. I am about done. I have the frames and everything set up. All I have to do now is add the actually puzzle to find out the username and password.

Should be done by tomorrow I hope. It is 1 AM now and I'm planning on finishing it tonight. I'd say it will be done by 3-4 PM tomorrow.

Edit: Its 4 AM now. I had a big problem in my coding and so I spent the last 2 hours finding and fixing it. I still have to add 5 or so more ways to find the username and password. Right now I have it so that it looks just like the log in screen of a forum. Forgot password, register, etc.

The forgot password is were the bug was. It was a part that I had coded in like 30 mins. and not taken the time to check everything, my mistake.

Should be done tomorrow, it may go longer than 4 PM though. :/

Edit 2: Its 5 PM now. I decided that the Forgot Password shouldn't even be in the game. If it was I would have to code an e-mail system for the game. I took it out and pretty much remade the entire game in the last few hours. I have most of the game done. Again though, I remade most of the game. I have to still get ways for the player to find the username and password.

This will help out:

Get pictures and layout: Almost done.

Code the game: Almost done, I have to get the rest of the pictures to get the game coded.

Forgot password: Fixed, you will see what I mean. ;)

Register: Fixed, you will see what I mean. ;)

Desktop: Late addition to the game that I just started working on. After it is done the game should be done.

Input boxes: Done, easiest part of it to code and finish.

Buttons: I have to add a few more to the Desktop part of the game but otherwise they are done.

Prize Page: The prize for beating the game and the page that you are trying to get into is done.

Hidden stuff: I call them cheats but they do nothing. Just little hidden things in the game for fun. They don't even need code = really easy = done/may add more.

Unable to cheat: There is a way to cheat around normal password pages like this and get into the hidden content/prize page. I have stopped it. Done.

Other: I may throw in a few things just for the fun of it. May = yes/no It is not done yet, if I decide to add it.
