They're are A LOT of versions by Rocketsnail.
Like Crab Chat, Robot Chat, Chibi Chat, Ultra Chat, Penguin Chat, lol there were a lot.

Now, they're history. The only game progressed was Penguin Chat, which transformed into Club Penguin, which isn't owned by Rocketsnail anymore, but by Disney.

Rsnail was hired by the company New Horizon Interactive (which is why he isn't CEO), which went to make Club Penguin. CP was then bought by Disney (for $7mil), and, well, that's it.
