Stupid Financial Crisis.

Well, the financial crisis has finally sunk in. Y'know the iMac I wanted? Seems like I'm probably not going to get it.

I'm getting a computer that's 1/3 of the price. Statistic wise, it's better in any way apart from one. It's... V...V...V...VISTA! :omg:

- 2.4 GHz processor
- Vista Home Premium
- 4GB memory
- 640GB hard drive (which is massive XD )

Even worse, however, I may have to sacrifice CS4 until Christmas-March...

:(

Oh well. I'm going to go for Web Premium rather than Design Premium. I've decided that, in the end, I was rarely ever going to use InDesign, and, since I may start making games again, Soundbooth could be useful. Also, Web Premium's £43 ($69.4) cheaper.

We'll have to see what happens, however.

i have a HP vista
its ok
its great once you get it but after a year its gets kinda old
that stinks that your not getting the one you wanted

I heard that Vista was pretty buggy, even though it has an amazing process and style.

Vista was buggy before SP1. With a dual core processor, 2-3+ gb of ram, and a lot of love it will be amazing. :P

Too bad you didn't get the Mac. :P

But you should still be good with Vista. I've heard that they fixed most of it's problems.

Home Premium's nice, actually--the only problem you'll have, really, is how Paint saves .pngs.

But you probably won't use Paint anyway. XD

Isn't there a preview of Vitsa that I can see?I'm considering installing it, and I have been for awhile.My cousin said it was buggy so that's why I waited awhile.

Would I need to pay to get Vista as an upgrade for my CPU?

Since I'm getting CS4 Web Premium, there's barely any chance I'll ever use Paint :P
