| Do you have the answers to your own question? No. No single person does. Based on what has been said and what has been tallied, it seems about right. | |

1) They would probably get infracted along with their deduction. So if they broke enough rules, they would probably still get banned. Make sense?
2) Yeah? So do Atomic Penguins.
3) The whole point of this in my mind is to stop the pointless obsession with post count. If people had something to strive for, then maybe it would provoke better behavior and overall goodness on the forum, rather than rapid posting in Posting Games and things like that.
4) They'd lose their rewards, then their rep. But hopefully, they would have been being a good role model long enough for that to come to them naturally. Another one of the goals of this is character building. I've seen this system take a completely immature forum to completely mature.
5.) And yeah, they do need to be answered--or no one will really understand the point.
6.) KD: Let's say someone was getting frequently infracted for similar things. We take away rep, right? Because it means they aren't really learning anything from their infractions. The taking away of rep will be based on what rules you break and just how frequently you break them.
7.) And gaining rep is based on how much you try to help the forum--genuinely. Helping new users, being patient, things like that, that prove that you really care for CPP's well-being.
8.) Argie: I'll probably start up a topic in the staff forum on rep. This way, the whole/majority of the staff gets a say and it's more fair and less favoring.
Lol. xP I hate integers.
RTL: You'd better not have just voted... ~Egaro 1.) No not really, you just said that they couldn't get banned now you are going against that.
2.) ...and I believe that group shouldn't be here either.
3.) Then why is the Atomic Penguins group still around? If you wanted to get away from the obsession of posting, take away the rewards not give them more!
4.) How do you take a signature away from somebody if they have it saved in their files? Also, I am guessing, the signatures would be numbered like the old legendary penguins thing. So you give it to them but then you can't take it back.
5.) Ha, I got tired of typing and so I only typed those few questions. I could keep going. ^_^
6.) I wonder why. You give them an infraction and then it is removed a few weeks later. Or has that been changed with the "new" infraction system?
7.) Who says the user is doing good though? I see alot of flaming against the person who does decide. "I did good here and here but you never raised my rep!!!"
8.) ...but you already said the all of the staff was against it and by the way they are voting it doesn't sound like they want it either.

How do you know this? What if a staff member only posted but didn't vote? Or what if a staff member voted but didn't say so? 1) The rep is taken away when you do things consistently wrong. Usually the same things. Whereas you get infracted the first time you do these things wrong. Rep is in no way really related to infracts.
2) Neither do I.
3) Ah, but just taking away the reward won't do anything. They'll just move back to "Who's got the greatest post count?" Going to a system that requests maturity for rewards instead of posts would keep everyone off posting, most likely.
4) Nah, probably not numbered. Just named. That way, we can remove it from their sig if we have to take away their rewards.
5) :P
6) It's removed a few weeks later if they're genuinely sorry and have stopped breaking the rule.
7) Then they'd probably not get the rep, or have some taken away.
8) I did not say that all the staff was against it. I said that most of the staff was against it. I'm just trying to see what you guys think of this to see if it changes their's--or my--mind.
9) Because I asked c0med, iWaddle, and RTL, and they all voted. ~Egaro

I ate 11 and Egaro hasn't given me infractions yet. So don't count on it.
