| | Darn it, love is so confusing. | |
First of, some people may say "Valentine's Day was yesterday you fool" but hey, I was in Flagstaff sledding with CrissCross on Valentine's Day.
There's a girl that lives two doors away from me, her name is Kelly. I knew her and played with her since I was 8.
Ever since I got older, I started, you know, like-liking her. I kinda didn't get around to telling her, until recently. I told her, and she said that she also loved me.
She was my first real Girlfriend.
But then, tragically, exactly 2 and half days later, after I got back from church, she came over and told me to come outside. We started talking, and she told me that she just couldn't think of me as more than a friend. The whole thing was really awkward for me also, but I was trying.
So she was also my first real break-up.
On Thursday, I was talking to my friend (he's 9 but "knows about love") about asking her out again. When she came over to hang out with us, he kept bugging me to "do it, Noah". I ignored him, but then, finally, he decided to just go ahead and say "ask her out!".
I said to her "what is he talking about". She said "you know" and smiled.
She clearly might want to get back together with me.
My big question is how can I ask her?
I love her. I know she loves me. There's just a little door labeled " normal friendship" that's between us.
And oh yeah, neither of out parents can find out about this. Just so you know. ;) | |
