Questions for the Sensei Empty
PostSubject: Questions for the Sensei   Questions for the Sensei EmptyMarch 18th 2009, 10:23 pm

Sensei is quite good
Yes, the ultimate black belt
But can he do this?

Five, seven and five
The haiku blocks syllables
Patterns are within

If Sensei completes
The task that lies right ahead
He is truly great

Make rhyming haikus
And only them to answer
The questions I give

1.
Three blocks makes your world
Well, we can break water down
One part makes up both

Name this special part
The smallest ordinary
Particle there is

Hint for question
Gary knows lots; he knows much
Can he help you now?

2.
Versatile box
Light-bearing monitor shows
Much information

What am I above?
My ancient counterpart is
The old typewriter

Hint for question
Aunt Artic needs one shortly
Seventies onward

3.
Four towers, green puffle
Penguins touching black-red disks
Music's everywhere

Where am I right now?
Hint for you is Cadance likes
This hot spot with Moon

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Answer all these right
You gain infinite power
However, failing

Failing only means
You have a lot more to learn
Gather info now.

Grasshopper, you too
Can try to answer these quests
Do so with Sensei

In water so dear
It is so very much clear
Oxygen is near

For there are two more
Hydrogen will get the score
This is a big bore

I have wasted time
Making this stupid thing rhyme
And now I give up

But did you realize
That this is a compromise
Haikus are okay

Five Seven Five Five...
It is not always that way
Though it is common

Now I will soon stop
For your and my enjoyment
Toodaloo to you!

=D

Well, I don't know any of those, I will work on it tomorrow, because I have no school tomorrow and I have LOADS of work I need to do by midnight (Eastern Standard Time).

A haiku is NOT a language. A haiku is a Japanese form of poetry, which can be done in ANY language, so long as there are a correct number of syllables for what you want to get across. Sensei (normally) speaks in groups of three lines, called stanzas. In a haiku, the first and third lines have five syllables, and the second line has seven syllables. I am going to show where the syllables are, by inserting a space between syllables. I know Rutherfordium104 from before he gotten banned (we were real-life friends), and he has given me the answers to the problem:

Question 1: Hydrogen
Question 2: Computer
Question 3: Night Club

(He actually thought people would get at least 2 and 3)
