Easy solution. Dog Forumotion to give you the database for this forum until they say yes, dump forumotion, buy/get some hosting and use phpbb3. Don't listen to forumotion's crap saying this is phpbb3. If it was, you'd be able to turn off post count in some forums.

| Simplier than that. Forget post count or upgrade to vBulletin. | |

Don't listen to forumotion's crap saying this is phpbb3. If it was, you'd be able to turn off post count in some forums. This has to be the worst plan I have ever seen in my entire life. And no epic forum please, just the thread.

| How are you going to get Forumotion to grant your phpMyAdmin access and how would you move it? They're a company, they don't just hand out the log in credentials because some site is popular. Besides, they kind of WANT YOU to use their service. | |

You need the log in information to get to the database in phpMyAdmin. It just won't work. Their best bet is to just start over and ditch this crap of a forum they've got now.

You didn't read my Mass forum pruning topic. Move all old topics to the basket.

| No offense but there should be at least one staff member who knows about this stuff, rather than thinking "type in imageshack link and theme go boom wow!" | |
