"Infraction Reason #3 Advertising. 2/1/10" I'd like to know when I advertised. As I recall, the only link I posted in the past few weeks is the link to an RPG Name Generator (http://www.clubpenguinplanet.net/roleplay-f63/conflagration-t30928.htm). I fail to see how linking to a website that benefits me in no way whatsoever, helps speed up the process of creating a new RPG character, and is fairly popular still considered advertising. If you think otherwise, I suggest handing out infractions whenever someone starts posting PlanetRenders/Youtube links.

Advertising is a form of communication that typically attempts to persuade potential customers to purchase or to consume more of a particular brand of product or service. Now, if I had actually posted that link in an attempt to persuade more people into using it simply because it benefits me in some way, then that would be the kind of advertising the rules were referring to. Besides, Seventh Sanctum is not a product/service that requires payment. The link I posted was still in context of the original "discussion;" it's not a forum I own nor is it a website I am associated with. It doesn't sway away any of the members of this forum. Seventh Sanctum = Planet Renders = Google = Youtube = FaceBook. Seventh Sanctum =/= Dock Penguins.

Me too, I want to see where my first infractions came from. Also I'm on the verge of being banned because I made 3 one word posts and one accidental double post? Not for being rude or anything like that. Just a bunch of accidents and a new rule I didn't even know of. Help?

| Infraction #: 2 Why do you think it's unfair: Because I wasn't advertising anything and the moderator who assigned the infraction has no real idea of what "advertising" is. Resource of infraction* (optional): http://www.clubpenguinplanet.net/forum-discussion-f5/iamthegummybear-t31270.htm | |

| Infraction Reason #2: Inappropriate content/picture. 1/17/10 ~Big SbHow the heck is a special effects picture inappropriate?! I believe this one expired, too. Infraction Reason #3: Disrespect. 2/23/10 ~Big Sb Oh, so Big Cowboys wasn't disrespecting Marc, but I was disrespecting him? Nice logic, Big Sb. Infraction Reason #4: One word post. 2/23/10 ~Sjb I was asked a question; I answered that question. Would it be any better if I said "Yes, my good sir, I do believe ducks are better than ninjas and pirates. Golly gee!"?
Infraction Reason #5: Spam. 2/23/10 ~Sjb There's a difference between image macros and "fdsjdjdj." Learn to differentiate between those two.

| When you just post a picture, that is Spam, or in my words "One image post with no words".
You could of said "Ducks, I say Ducks.", or something. DB, you can't always get away with breaking the Rules, just because your an old Mod/User, and you think everybody loves you, doesn't mean you can.

DB, you can't always get away with breaking the Rules, just because your an old Mod/User, and you think everybody loves you, doesn't mean you can. Same for you. Just because you're moderator, doesn't mean you can go on infracting and banning people (example. madcat (he registered yesterday, he's still new. Give him a break)). And isn't this thread about appealing infractions we think are unfair? Last time I checked, it isn't a thread where you appeal your infraction and flame/or start a flame war just because we did.

You could of said "Ducks, I say Ducks.", or something. DB, you can't always get away with breaking the Rules, just because your an old Mod/User, and you think everybody loves you, doesn't mean you can. "Spam" is a message that is completely unrelated to the subject; a post that isn't coherent; doesn't make any sense or carry a clear, straight-to-the-point message - whether it be an email/post that (falsely) advertises some kind of product, or more "dasdaksdjlasdajsldk"-ing. I posted that image in the random forum, hence, I'm entitled to be random. It made perfect sense - you got the message out of it, did you not? And it's not like I'm advertising "the internet." That image I posted contains words. Words have a purpose, a meaning. That, my dear, is not spam. If I compiled one of my posts into a big wall of text (Hint: Image with nothing but text), would that be considered spam? Your understanding of the term is misleading. All right. Someone asks me if I like nuggets or fries better, would it make a difference if I said: "Oh my God! I adore fries!" or if simply said: "Fries." I like being straightforward and simple. Who are you to take away that privilege from me? I'm not breaking the rules. You're just being a bit infraction happy at the moment. Funny, it almost seems like you have a personal vendetta against me. Besides, just what does me being an old moderator and "user" (I love you) have to do with anything? Why do you insist on bringing that up while it has no relevance to the subject at hand?
