New text sig, getting used to Gimp again

I'm trying to gradually build my Gimp skills again. I can't even remember how I made such good paths. :(

So I'm doing some basic things including these flashy text things and what not, so I just wanted to inform you.

I know, its pretty basic, I just wanted to show it.

Did you download GIMP for free and just download plugins for it?

There isn't much Plug-in's for Gimp, and if there is I don't download them. Gimp just has loads of tools and it IS free.

I suggest you get Gimp instead of using PDN. ;)

PS: To all those who enjoyed my PS tags(I was much better with PS), I might be getting PS back or even Illustrator. :D

My Photoshop CS3 works wonders, my Photoshop CS4 is bugged up, and my GIMP is still as bad as ever.

Anyway... nice. Simple but nice.

It's simple and very nice looking.

I hate Gimp, though, Photoshop can do everything it does and more, and MUCH easier.

I agree, PS is much better but if your looking for a free program Gimp is best. I want my Photoshop back so bad, but I needed computer space so it had to go...

I might get Adobe Illustrator and start vectoring, but it depends, does anyone know the price of it? My dad was looking into buying it.
