Not exactly taking over our generation, but millions are addicted to them. Sort of like me with my DSi and iTouch :P

Anyway, I don't exactly sit around completely addicted to handheld objects like that. I know some people who can't stop using their phones and others who are trying to sneak in some time with their DS during a large family reunion or a birthday party or something.

So, no, our generation is not exactly being taken over by handheld electronics, but plenty of people I know seem to have fallen into the trap. xP

Hand-held devices: Hitler's plan to take over the world from beyond the grave. :P

Most girls in my school can't live without their iPhone/iPod/whatever for a few seconds. Although it's very addicting, no, I don't think technology has taken over our generation. Maybe in a few years later, though, who knows?

I remember hanging out with some friends and all of them had cell phones except me (I found no use in it since I barely called/texted to anyone) and they were texting nonstop. I was about to say, "Hey, could one of you Cellphone addicts give me the time?" I decided not to though.
