Ok, so Bridget convinced my aunt that my one true wish was to learn how to ballroom dance.

She got my aunt to sign me up for a non-refundable $100 ballroom dance class.

I have NO coordination or balance. So, this guy gives me the MySpace of this random dancing kid named Derek H-something I can't remember the rest of the name.

So, I'm supposed to EMAIL this kid. Who the crap is he? Apparently he's FAMOUS in the dance world. :face:

Does anyone have any ideas who this kid is?

This really sucks.

Before this, Hough’s theatre work included playing the lead in Jesus Christ Superstar at the Millfield Theatre, and dancing in the company in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium.

Derek is one of Bruno Tonioli’s panelists on BBC One’s DanceX, the first episode of which aired on 14 July 2007.[3]

He has also hosted Real Lives, appeared in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and was the lead dancer in George Michael’s Round Here video.

He was on season 5 of Dancing with the Stars and was paired with Jennie Garth. He is competing in season 6 of Dancing with the stars, this time paired with Shannon Elizabeth. [2]

Derek Hough’s younger sister, Julianne Hough, was winner of Season 4 of the U.S. Dancing with the Stars. He competed against her on Season 5 of the show, before being eliminated on November 20, 2007. Derek was paired with Jennie Garth. His sister, paired with Helio Castroneves, ended up winning Season 5 of the competition. Derek stated in an interview in 2007 with his sister that they are both single.
