Alice finds Jamie on the cold wooden floor. Suddenly, a wild pack of ghosts attack Alice and Jamie. Alice tries to run away from them with heavy Jamie on her shoulders. When the ghosts finally went away, Alice found cuts and burns all over her arms. A tear slid down her dying face.

Cailan stood there and observed as one of the idiotic kids he was stuck with tried to navigate their way out of a maze. "Why the heck would she even go into a freaking maze while we're trapped?" Cailan thought to himself. A wave of calmness and relaxation swept over him as he heard a thud and a scream; Jayla's trapped. "All right, she's gone." Her high-pitched screams and schoolgirl-in-distraught attiude irritated him, and he couldn't be more happy that she's gone for at least an hour . . . and what a bloody great hour that was going to be. "There has to be an emergency exit." He said as he checked the walls around him for a loose brick, a hidden hatch--anything.

I went through the maze because it was one of the only parts...

Jayla sees the messed up kitchen with an oven on fire, but the fire never spread, bugs crawling all over the floor, and ghosts dining on human flesh at the table.

Jayla spots a broken hammer on the ground, and later finds some crazy glue. Jayla glues it together (Like crazy) so it worked. She used all her energy trying to smash the unbreakable walls, windows, and door. Exhausted, Jayla fell to the floor and fainted.
