Editing videos, I'd suggest the following (Tried them all.)

Sony Vegas (any version)
Cyberlink Powerdirector (I'd say the easiest)
Pinnacle Studio
Adobe AfterEffects

None of them are free, but I'm sure you'd find some torrents/cracks/keygens somewhere on YouTube (tutorials)
