| Subject: 6/9/08 Thinking Back June 9th 2008, 3:17 am | |
| Ive been thinking back all night, and i cant stop, ive been thinking about when cp first started, all the friends i made and lost, how FAST my life has gone by since my dad died, and when will it slow down. If you knew me i am very laid back but self confident and i like things slow, its crazy, just in january i was thinking back and now its JUNE! I babysat this kid named Krazy Couger (on Cp) but he was like one of my best friends too, even though he is 11 and im 15, it doesnt matter, he looked up to me, and he recently moved this past november, and i made my FIRST club penguin music videos with him, and i havent seen him since November, and i can never get ahold of him. All the people who say its a small world, its not, its a very large world, my friends in real life and cp, constantly change, the only consistent friend ive had is bergeron4444 or marchofthepe, since ive known them the longest, but still thinking back on everything its just insane how fast they went, and all the memories are stuck in my head. I cant put a lot of it into words but its like whats happening, ive almost been playing club penguin for 3 years in september, and all that is gone, my past is insane, i wouldnt be the person i am if i hadnt joined this virtual game and made all these friends with different views, it expanded my horizon of thinking and made me really look at some stuff, and its crazy just to think what i would be if i hadnt joined, so many people have made efforts for me online and some made me feel better about my life, since my dad died, ive had highs and lows, at one moment i thought of not even wanting to do anything, and i stayed in my room for weeks, and now im at a high, im a mod on a great forum, i have awesome friends, an awesome blog, awesome music videos, and thats just VIRTUAL, my band recorded its first album and hope to be signing a RECORD deal soon, but thats not something good. I have a very hard descision to make and since i feel so confident with you, trust me ive askd my friends in rl first, but i have to make a choice, either continue the band and go on further, or stay playing basketball varsity for my high school, i dont know, I LOVE THE BAND, and my dad taught me all i know about guitar, but he also taught me about basketball, and he played college basketball. I have to make this choice because, all of it is time consuming, my band we have to practice everyday, and basketball, i have to practice everyday. Pros for Band: -SIGNING A RECORD DEAL -The Fans -The Growing Sensation -Creating Music -Doing something i LOVE -Making my father proud Pros For Basketball: -Im 6'4" and really good -im already playing varsity as a sophomore and freshman -i have a chance at a college scholarship -doing something i LOVE -making my dad proud I am thinking that, if i went on and played basketball, if i didnt get a scholarship i could always come back to guitar and a band, even though it might not be the same, and i would have to work my way up again, but if i dont then i would miss out on basketball because i would never play again. SO I BASICALLY HAVE UNTIL 6:00 PM Tomorrow because thats when we are meeting with the record company, and i have to know by THEN if i am going to do it. Im leaning towards basketball cause i cant go back and do that, but still its up in the air, and im going to get little sleep. ~Cole :S | |

| Oh yeah, real nice. Did you even read it?
God, a record deal or basketball...? It would wind up harder to climb back up if you didn't take the record deal, but you could never go back to basketball.
I don't know what you should do. Sleep on it, like you were thinking. Just sit in bed and really think about it; your heart will tell you what to do.
Sappy. :/ ~Egaro | |

| Ahh, the record deal reminds me of my auditions. Yes, I do acting auditions for all of you people out there who aren't my fans yet. I remember the first time doing auditions... boy, I nailed them right in the butt. Your record deal will hopefully be the same. Make a good impression that will last, don't goof up. They're the "proffesionals" in this business, and trust me, they like someone who can leave their best impression. | |

| Basketball isn't as popular as it was anymore, I'd go with the record deal if you're really good at singing. You can make a lot of money to support your family with, and for things you want. You could also make your father proud by showing the affection he showed you to other people you don't even know by donating to charities and churches (if you're Christian). I think sticking with the band would be a choice that would make you benefit more physically, but both ways would make your dad proud.

| Its too time consuming for a record deal i would have to be writing songs almost everyday. I am for certain now to choose basketball because i cant come back to that and i can always go back to being in a band. The genre is rock/soft rock, we basically span those two | |
