That's a tough decision.

I say don't tell the record company anything. See what they are willing to offer, first. They may not even sign you, then your decision will be easier. You shouldn't say no to them without seeing what they will say. Then if you still want to play basketball, go with it. It's a great sport. Maybe you'll end up playing for the Rockets.
