I want the whole nine yards on this one guys. Tell me everything that you like or dislike right down to the pixels. I am entering this in a contest and so I need the best opinions on this.

I haven't got a lot done but the whole time that I have been working on this, I have been playing and looking at pictures of Guitar Hero. The little rock-meter needs some more work done to it, it looks like... 8X

Ratings, comments, everything please.

You're right, the rock meter is horrid. There is a lot more to say... like if you are trying to make it most exact to the real screen, I think the notes are a bit to circular, and that guitar neck pattern is kinda ugly and unexpected on a Guitar Hero thingy... if it's not exact then I still think the notes are weird, but the colors could fit a little bit more. They still do have an uglyish tone, though, realistic-as-game or not.

There's my whole "9 yards", but compared to what I expect of some other people I've probably only given you 3.

I want it to be close to, but not exact. That rock meter is being a big pain, I can't find nothing that will work with it.

I tried them bigger at first, but they were to big for the board and I really didn't want to make them any smaller than they are now. That is actually made like that because of the contest, I think it looks cool even though it isn't GH-ish.

The colors were to plain when I first made them so I just threw on some gradient that looked close.

Thanks guys. I added the "ROCK" to the meter, along with the lights, and the meter arrow thing. It looks somewhat better. As long as I can drag the user's attention away from it with something else, it will be fine.

I'd say make the circles inside the colored circles a solid color instead of a gradient. Also, maybe put the blue lights on the rock meter.

Circles inside the colored circles? The outside circles are a gradient, not the inside, is that what you are referring to?

Haven't been able to continue work on it for the past few days but I finally got it done today. Still needs fixing up here and there but I like it.

You shouldn't make the score as high as '9,999,999'. Make it something less and not the same number.

I'm not sure what they're called on GH. The circles that move, that's what I mean.

It is set as that to fit the rest of the image which I am still working on. It is supposed to be that you are so great at it that you have maxed out the score-board.
