Actually, that may not be a typo because you can there's a term/phrase/sentence-thingy (I forget what it's called) "They are going into hiding".

But then again that is usually when you are hiding from the government or someone.

It means they're in the HQ or the ninja base

If it says:
_____ is in Hiding, it means they're in the HQ.

if it says:
_____ is in the Hiding, it means they're in the Ninja Room.

I think hiding can mean they're in the Command Room too.
