| Well, I'm working on a new siggy, and I tried to download a font from dafont.com, and I've got a thing that shows up that shows you it in different sizes and what all the characters look like, but I don't know how to actually install it...can someone please help?
Thanks! ~Egaro | |

| 1. Download it to your desktop 2. Go to your Programs and Files place and look for the Font Box or Folder. 3.Then copy the Font Box 4. Paste the Font Box into your desktop 5. Take out your font and drag it into your Font Box. Ta-Da! ;) | |

| When the download thngy pops up, there is like a bar that shows you where you want to save it. You browse around and click desktop. | |

| If you have Windows, it'd be a lot easier to go to the font file window... you know? the file thing that pops up? Then open up that star thing and go to that My Computer or whatever it is and drag the file into the font section under that. Srry I am REALLY bad at explaining you might be a bit confused by that... | |

| Ok this is how you do it. Goto Start>Control Panel>View Classic Mode> Fonts> Take the file and drop it into there. | |

| Ok, download it from dafont.com. It should ask you where you want to download it. Go to C:\Windows\Fonts
If it has some dodgy error message about it being system files, just say 'bleh, whatever. I know what I'm doing', and press 'ok'.
That should install it into every program, including teh GIMP.

That should install it into every program, including teh GIMP. Alot of times though, the font is packaged into a .zip or .rar file. So you have to extract the font there.

| Finally got it to work. It had something to do with Vista. All I had to do was save it in Public, right click in the "Fonts" thing, press "Install New Font" go to Public, find the font, and press install.
Thanks for all your help, guys! ~Egaro
