Hack (computers): to devise or modify (a computer program), usually skillfully I've explained this before and I suppose I'll have to explain it again: Not all hacking is malicious. I choose not to do malicious hacking because it's not very useful most of the time. I do hacks of programs and test boards to show where there are flaws and make things easier for people. I do not partake in activities that people like "iamthewalrus" do. Hack means a modification; hacking means modifying something. If I modify something like, say, a forum software, I am hacking it.
