| HAHA. Two years ago in sixth grade, we ate pi in class and had a contest to see who could say the most digits and whoever could would win extra points on their grade. I didn't even bother entering XD We also saw pretty cool pi site where people wrote songs on the digits of pi. Kinda weird too.. | |

| I know sixteen digits. It is really too bad that pi day is not on a school day, or we would've gotten to eat pie! =D

Or is it an american thing? It's used in math, for finding the area/circumference of a circle. It's a ratio of the circle's diameter to it's circumference, but people usually shorten it to just 3.14.

No, it's used in math around the world. It was discovered/first calculated about 2,500 years ago by Archimedes of Syracuse and several others in ancient Greece. Pi is the 16th letter of the Greek alphabet You can also find your hat size by measuring your head and dividing by pi, then rounding to the nearest 1/8 inch. (Just to let you know :P )

In math class. That was so stupidly funny. To make fun of it we had an addition day. (3/6/09)
