"Would you settle for 'Anywhere but here'?" replied Heather loudly. "We can't stay here that long, there isn't any food or water and I'm sure that won't magically pop up anywhere soon, not to mention the danger of having to face more of these..these..things." she reminded as she moved on to the next body, then her luck struck, there was a small gun hidden in the jacket pocket.

"We either use the back exit or find another way out, I doubt we'll have any luck with the finding part, though." said Heather, holding the gun in her hand.

A man walked ver to the three teens. "Help me!" Then one of the beasts jumps on the man and bites him. The mans face starts to deform. He turns into a beast. "Know do you agree?"

"Congratulations, you just alerted them to our existence." said Heather angrily. That's it, they need to get out now or they're zombie meat. Heather kicked the door open with all her force and started running without even looking back. "I hope this gun is loaded." she said to herself.

Luckily, Ben's rapid firing distracted the zombie-like creatures long enough for Heather to slip out and exit the shopping district. She stopped to catch a breath when she spotted a fairly undamaged building in the now completely destroyed city of New York, something which intrigued her curiosity.

"Something alive must be in there." she took her chances and headed towards the building.

Becca, with her sword in hand, ran towards Ben and the beasts. She sliced the beasts. "Come on!!" She yelled.

The beasts ignored Becca. They'd get her after. They still had brains. They knew that Becca was distracting so Ben could kill. Still closing in, Ben fired randomly.

Becca got to one of the beasts and sliced its head off. Blood went everywhere. Pretty soon she was covered in it.

A beast clenched it's teeth into his neck "The end..." he muttered. But Ben didn't turn. Of course! All these people who were infected had the virus. Heather, Becca and him were fortunate enough to not to get harmed by it. They were the only 3 who were immune! The beasts bite didn't affect them. but they could still rip them to shreds. But how did that explain the man? Maybe he was already forming when he shouted help. Ben didn't need to worry about that right now though, blood gushing out of his throat "Arrrggghhh!!!"

Heather heard a low, footstep noise coming from behind her. She turned around, prepared to shoot at anything that presents any threat to her when she saw Ben and Becca slowly approaching her. Both were injured badly, both were limping...Huh.

"What the heck happened?" she shouted.

Alex stared at the wound. The bullet was only half in. Stopped by the bone. He pulled it out. More screaming. He put some numbing cream on, and then some and then some creazm that said it cured wounds, from a medical bag hanging on a wall. he then realised he was in a hospital.
