User groups super crazy fun time.

I was thinking, since The Chill Out is no longer using the idea, we could put it into effect. Basically what you can do is order your own user group from the coin shop and you're given the rights to the group. You can also optionally purchase a forum for that group. So say you want to open a graphics team, coding project team, etc... this would make that a lot more fun. The forums could be placed as a subforum inside one larger forum, like:
> Forum
>>Group
>>Group
>>Group

I don't think I can agree with you, LittleLaurence. After all, It isn't that complicated, I'm pretty sure Forumotion is capable of assigning different administrators to different groups, and in turn, allowing only certain groups to access a few forum of their own.

I like this idea, it sounds fun. :P

This worked on The Chill Out for a while, but the idea got out of hand and there were 4 lines of usergroups on the bottom.

Yeah.. There will be too many. And lots of them go inactive. Either make it super super expensive. :D

User groups don't have to be displayed in the legend.

These wouldn't be cheap though. 3000+ coins sound good? Maybe 5000... The groups probably wouldn't be allowed to have colored usernames, they would only be given limited mod power of that group, and every group would have to follow a preset group of rules to even have a chance at getting a forum.

We don't even have to make groups. Let them buy a "group" forum. The category that all of these go under would be at the bottom of the page and, again, the leader would only have limited mod power.

Exactly. We want to make this hard to get. If we barely allow custom ranks, then why would we give out almost free forum space. :P

This is also a way of picking out the groups. If all of the users of the group add up their coins together, I'm sure they can come up with close to 5000. If not, they may need a bigger group. ;)

Forumotion does have limits. I can't remember them, but they do have them on most things.

Also, the more forums that we add, the more mods that we will need. :0o

It depends on how many forums we would be looking at. 5 more would be a challenge to uphold with just 3 mods. We have been thinking about getting 1 or 2 new mods for a while now anyway. ;)
