Why is programming planet in Club Penguin Discussion?

The majority of games and applications posted in that forum are Club Penguin fan games. I'm sure you can see why it's under Club Penguin Discussion now.

And besides, would it really make a difference? You can basically categorize most of the games/applications the community is shoving out of its behind into two major groups:
1-Work in progress projects (A.K.A: Games/applications that are never going to be released).
2-Proof that humanity has failed (A.K.A: Horryfing games/applications that aren't even worth checking out).

So why bother?
