| To be honest, it does not look good. Remember when you would have to scroll through the last 99 hours list? Well it has been so long since then that I have almost forgotten. I remember when we used to get many users a day. One month, we got about 600 users to join. But now, we get less than 100 each month. Yesterday, only two users joined. The forum has lost it. And if no users join, users will only quit. Makes sense right? So you might be wondering how we get users. It is one word: Advertise. I know nobody likes doing it and because barely anybody does it, are we going to get much users?
Also, the users we get are not from advertising. We barely get any new users. When I first joined this forum, there were so many topics in Intros and Farewells that said 'I am new!'. A couple of those would be posted a day. Now, it has gotten to the point where you can basically name almost every active user on the forum. That is definitely not a good sign. I was on a forum like this and it was at this point. If we don't do something about the activity drop now, we will struggle and the forum may not do well during the summer.
So what I am asking is that you advertise. If you advertise, we will get new users. They may be different than the old ones but try to get to know them. New users will increase our activity. In result, us staff will be able to launch more updates. Houses used to work out very well and contests used to have like 30 participants. I would like to see that again.
Please Advertise. http://www.clubpenguinplanet.net/forum-news-announcements-f4/club-penguin-planet-advertising-signatures-t24822.htm

| Every forum serves its time. It may be possible that we served ours, but there is still alittle life left. However, if we do not advertise and lose even more, I think that 2 years is as far as this place will go. So, advertise, people!
Edit: Now that I look, this is the worst our "Past 99 Hour" list has ever been. We need to act now...

| Come to think of it we have 8953 users. If it doesn't get to 9000 by the end of the week then the forum needs a lot of help. | |

| Yes, I totally agree on what Brian is saying. We could use more advertising signatures awsell. Here's and idea:
Why don't someone send an email and ask club penguin to advertise us? Yes, I know it seems like they won't but at least give it a try!

| What makes this more sad is that we have 9,000 users, but only 100 are on during every 99 hours, and they are all the same ones. | |

| We have heard the suggestions and would love to do it. It is a great way to advertise our forum by mentioning we have a coin code or membership code.
However, you might have noticed that everyone on the staff is a teen or close to it. It would freak our parents out if we bought a coin code for a game like Club Penguin. That makes it difficult to get the prizes :(
Thanks for the feedback!

| When I heard about this place, I was on CP when someone say "JOIN CP PLANET" If we could have a huge get together on CP and have at least a dozen people saying it all over one server, we night get a load of new users. |

P.S. - Awesomeness is a real word. XD True fact. We should go on the most popular CP or online gaming forums and post on them. ~Linky

| Advertising on CP is a good idea, Me, Chargers, and someone else did advertise once. Of course we shouldn't be using bots, but a few users may be interested. | |

~Sjb Thats no excuse, no matter how large that list is we should always have some type of advertising going on.

Wouldn't it make more sense that those users had grown up or something like that?
