Clan Closing

Should this clan be shutdown?

Obviously, nobody has any interest in this clan so I'm thinking of shutting it down or renaming the clan. So I want to do a poll and have the members vote.

I will be making a clan notice for the next few days or so.

Maybe a battle ground/lounge?

Yeah. We need more activity on this clan.

What I've noticed, is that the clans are mainly related to popular things at CPP. For example, the MW2 clan. We already have a Gamers forum, but MW2 was a popular topic in it. Chao made the clan and so now all talk on MW2 (mostly) has been taken out of the Gamers forum and is now mostly found in that clan. The Sports only clan, we already had a forum for sports as well. Same with this clan, we already had a whole category on graphics. The Teens Only clan started out big, but somewhat died out. The MW2 clan stole a topic from the gamers forum, making it a little less active, but making the clan a little more active.

For a clan to be good, it has to be a new subject that will go well here. Something that a lot of people will talk about/do. If the topic is already available here at CPP, but isn't active, then maybe it wouldn't be a good idea for a clan. Possibly just the fact that you will be competing with CPP when you make the clan.

<sarcasm>Maybe you should make a "CPP Discussion" clan.</sarcasm> As it seems that we get a lot of posts on what goes on in the forums. If someone doesn't like something, mainly staff changes, we will hear about it for the next month or two.

Honestly though, renaming the clan and getting a new main subject to work on might be best.

I believe they are the same thing, in some cases. If you're going to rename it, then that should increase activity. Depending on if the rename also includes new subjects to talk about and all.

This is an epic bump, but.

We should just temporarily close the clan for now. Not actually delete it, but just post an announcement.
