So, I'm trying to build a gaming PC. Here's the stuff I chose so far:

RAM: Corsair XMS3 TW3X4G1333C9AG 4GB Dual Channel DDR3 RAM $119.99
Motherboard: Asus P6T WS Pro $329.99/$299.99
Processor: Intel Core i7-930 $295.00
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon™️ HD 5870 $380/$479.99
Power Supply: CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W $129.82
Hard Disk: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB SATA/300 7200RPM 16MB Hard Drive $49.88
Total: $1372.89

I already have a chassis, and all that other stuff. I just want to know if the components I chose are good enough and/or if they actually work together. <3

Well, not exactly from scratch. I'm keeping my old chassis and other parts from my current computer.

Anyway, I asked a few questions on Yahoo Answers, and most of those who answered me recommended that I get a more powerful power supply and a DDR3 RAM stick since the motherboard I'm getting doesn't support DDR2. I'm either getting this system for $1372 or a Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q870 pre-built laptop for $1500. It doesn't really matter, but the former has slightly better specs and is less expensive.

Christ! You're gonna have alot of hard work building a computer. I'm very technological but I'm not sure if I can help you out in the building department, I'm more creative with ambitious ideas but I'll never make the actual thing.
You will need lot's of microchips and software that adds on to help support your computer together & a fan. That's as much as I can help. (:
