Mobile WiFi?

Hey, I may be getting a gaming laptop for my birthday/Bar-Mitzvah and along with that I may be getting a Verizon WiFi device so I can play some games online in a car or something.

The reason for the WiFi is because my grade is going to D.C., the Communist state of the U.S., and It's going to be a 4-hour trip from here to there. Then everyone can connect to me with their laptops or iPod and we can have a strip party, ya know?

Anyway, do you guys know of any of these devices. Verizon sells several of them, but which one of Verizon's is best and cheapest?

Probably the way they're enforcing laws in areas they shouldn't get involved in. I wouldn't know, though.

Are they even allowed on the trip? Anyways, the cheapest laptop I've seen is around $100. It was Samsung, I think.

No, no, I'm not looking for a laptop. I'm looking for a mobile hotspot that's not a cellphone.
