Silent Hill: Downpour

Silent Hill: Downpour will be the newest game in the Silent Hill series. It is expected to be released in October of this year. The plot so far is this:

"Silent Hill: Downpour follows Murphy Pendleton, a prisoner who is stranded in the town of Silent Hill after the prison transport vehicle he is being transported with careens off a road. The plot's events take place in the southeastern region of Silent Hill, which has never been explored in previous games in the series, and the plot will be unrelated to previous installments"

What I don't like is this part, ".. and the plot will be unrelated to previous installments". What I liked about the first Silent Hill games, is that they were connected in someway. That is what made the games interesting. I have a feeling that Downpour will be a let down.



At least the monsters look cool. Opinions?
