Updates?

Hello there everyone! We are are working diligently to get new updates out. This is requiring a lot of testing and imitation of the current forum, which will take a while.

Sorry it seems like nothing is happening. We will try to post a sneak peak soon :)

About how long will this take?

How long it has to. I am not a fan of rushing :(

I will try to let you all know exactly what we are doing in the process to give you an idea of how much we have done so far. We have ported the structure of the forum and we are in the process of porting the theme (this process is pretty tedious). We are also working on a new project to launch with the new forum.

Theme is almost finished being ported. The board is also now in private testing.

Will the themes be selectable? Or will there be just one theme?

There'll just be one theme. All though phpBB will probably make that possible for us in the future.

We are definitely launching with one theme, which is the theme that this forum currently has with some improvements. I am aware that self-hosted forums allow the administrators to add several different themes for the users to toggle through. I could see us adding a light theme for those who do not like darkness of the current one sometime after launch. However, we do not plan on akin these additional themes ourselves because there are much more important things that we have to spend our time doing.

Anyway, really close to completing the theme port. There are some icons and buttons that still need uploading and a minor bug in the way. After that, I will be transferring all of the important topics, setting up the infraction system, and the posting ranks. We might also decide to launch with a working credit system, but that would make the launch take longer.

Update: The forum is now ready for private testing. There is just one thing we need to work out.

You should also incorporate a facebook like chat, it's a lot faster than pm's in my opinion. (Btw if you need a code for that I have it for vbulliten but I could try to convert it.
