Brushes- GIMP

This is a quick and easy tutorial on adding brushes to GIMP for those who don't know.

First get your image that you want as a brush, or make the picture that you want.
Now convert it to a grayscale image. (Image > Mode > Grayscale)
Last, save it: Go to 'File > Save As' and then save it as, "*Artwork name here*.gbr" But don't press, "save" yet!
Now this is the truly last step. Find GIMP in your files, it should be something like this: "Local Disk (C) > Program Files > Gimp 2.2 (my version) > Share > Gimp > 2.0 > brushes" Then just click, "Save" and a window will come up. The space will be how far it is in the list (I put it as 1) and just name it what you want to see it called in GIMP.
Your done!

Thanks but this isn't really the whole thing. You can make colored brushes, like the leaf brush. I'm not really sure how but I'll try to find out.

6-19-08 Edit: Saving it with color is the same thing. Just a different format to save it as.
