so some time today they're gonna stop selling xps.

Just because Bill himself left, doesn't mean that it's the end of Microsoft itself. There are a *lot* of smart engineers and computer software experts that know how to design and compute. Yeah, he's the father of Microsoft, but a lot of people have also mastered the craft, he's passed down his duties to two specific people.

XP won't be available but support will still be given until 2014 (critical updates and such..).

And, if you have Vista and you want to downgrade to XP, don't do it, it's only 6 years until XP disappears, it's not worth investing on it.

Wrong! Because Steve Ballmer and Bill Gates have been working together for ages and I bet Steve Ballmer knows what he's doing. But atleast "Billy" gets to focus more on the Bill and Marinda Chairty Foundation! But they might stop selling it but they never said they would take it away from users...
