Can anyone help me out with some Verizon Wireless Q's?

I'm switching to Verizon Wireless and will probably get the Voyager? Can anyone give me their plan used and if they have the voyager the one they use for that? Just give me some general feedback. Thanks!!! I want the 80/month but my dad said no way. :(

For 250 texts a month for ONLY Verizon numbers is $5 a month.
For unlimited texting for Verizon and 250 texts for non Verizon is $10 a month.
The family plan is unlimited everything for all the phones on your plan for $30 a month.
