Is Club Penguin REALLY add free?

They say they are add free, but they are advertising Disney and Disney.com a lot. :mmm: :mmm: :mmm:

Disney is part of CP now; it's not advertising. Disney has a right to CP; and anyway, the "advertising" actually helps get more members. Naturally, if a parent sees Disney on a page, they know it's safe.

We're talking about Club Penguin advertising. Although they don't do it directly, Club Penguin does advertise websites such as Yahoo!, or Gmail, or AOL. However this is very rare. Disney has bought Club Penguin, that's why it's "part of the Walt Disney Company."

They mean stuff like "Ads by Google", and Pop-Up free.

They can advertise Disney, since Disney is almost the owners of the website itself.

Clubpenguin is completely advertisement free. Disney promotes it, but they do not have ads for it. Since Disney bought Clubpenguin for $350,000,000 dollars (and offered another $350,000,000 for membership prices to be raised), they have the right to do what they want with it- except for ads.

Having it say Disney.com at the bottom of the page isn't advertising because Disney has the rights to CP. If it bothers you then use the Miniclip version of the game.
